Aloha and welcome to my Notion-powered work portfolio.

My career has been pretty wild — from supporting lunar landers to leading content strategy and design for Silicon Valley companies.

While my recent roles have been content designer and strategist in tech, I’m also including writing samples to showcase my strength in content marketing and copywriting.

Dropbox support refactor and redesign

While at Dropbox, I led a small design team on overhauling the /support experience, which had suffered from poor usability and low sentiment scores due to a lack of content and design framework.

The overhaul was to be a multi-step project, starting with lightweight sentiment testing with real Dropbox customers and competitive audits on leading-class support sites (i.e., Amazon, Netflix, Spotify), then heuristics analysis, design sprint…all leading up to an AI-powered contextual help center.


Pro Referral mobile app: Home Depot

I led UX writing for the Home Depot Pro Referral team and was instrumental in the redesign and relaunch of the Pro Referral mobile app. We crafted an experience to help pros secure jobs and stay on the app.

Following the successful mobile app relaunch, our product team shifted focus from acquisition and onboarding to engagement.

Data showed that Pros weren’t very engaged in the app and therefore not following good practice for lead response.

To address this issue, we added a new section called “Progress” that displayed key performance metrics such as responses rate, response time, ratings, and reviews.

In addition to writing the UI copy, I also created a repository of encouragement tips and best practices that corresponded with any given rating. For example, if a Pro had a 46 hour time to contact (not considered good), there would be copy encouraging faster responses.
